Bennett Realty & Development (BR&D) is pleased announce that industry veteran Jeffrey Albanese has joined their rapidly growing team as Director. Jeff has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate and operations. Most recently, Jeff served as Senior Real Estate Manager at QuickChek for 25 years where he was responsible for some of the region’s most successful gas/convenience store locations. During his tenure at QuickChek Jeff was involved in completing over ninety (90) new Gas/Convenience Store locations in some of the highest-barrier-to-entry markets in the Country. Prior to QuickChek Jeff was a key member on the rapid expansion of Krauszer’s Convenience Stores where he worked on the operation side of the business. Jeff possesses strong negotiation skills and extensive experience appearing before many Land Use Boards in New Jersey and New York where he was intimately involved in the approvals of many ground-up development deals.
With extensive experience in the planning, growth, and execution of multiple retail businesses in the northeast, including intimate knowledge of ground-up development, Jeff utilizes his experience to source projects and sites with the highest return on investment for his clients. His unmatched skillset allows him to excel at implementing real estate strategies for Tenants and Buyers alike and by leaning into his past involvement in the site selection and land entitlement process to avoid length and critical mistakes.

Additionally, Jeff has sat on Planning, Zoning and Municipal Utility Boards in New Jersey and understand the power of collaboration with property owners, attorneys, engineers, environmental engineers, and other professionals driving multiple projects through the approval process.

Jeff resides in Sparta, NJ with his wife. He is a licensed Salesperson in the state of New Jersey. Jeff is a father and grandfather who enjoys spending time with family and friends and attending as many concerts as he possibly can.
